What’s new in Huel Powder v3.0
The new Huel Powder v3.0 is the biggest single change we’ve ever made to Huel Powder. We invested heavily in better ingredients to bring you a product we hope you will love as much as we do, with the best nutritional profile ever.
Please see a quick summary of the main changes below:
- Improved texture - thanks to new ingredients (tapioca and sunflower lecithin) Huel Powder is smoother than ever.
- Improved all-natural flavours - all Huel Powder flavours now come from natural ingredients, and have an improved taste profile.
- Pre and probiotics - we added probiotics (“good bacteria”) to the natural prebiotic profile coming from the fiber content in Huel Powder.
- Natural vitamin C - in a push to increase natural sources of our micronutrients, the vitamin C in Huel Powder now comes from Acerola Cherries.
- Kombucha - again, a natural source of B vitamins.

Price change
Since Huel started, now over 5 years ago, we have never put up the prices of our core product, Huel Powder. We have kept the price the same despite the fact we have grown so quickly.
Of course growth means lots of great things and it is something we are very proud of and grateful for, but often it also means additional costs to a business.
We have always reinvested as much as we could in our product and services to ultimately be able to give you, our lovely Hueligans, the absolute best.
In the last 5 years we have:
- Created 6 new versions of Huel Powder and 7 new flavours
- Made Huel Powder available as Gluten-free
- Added Black Edition, Ready-to-drink, Bars and Flavour Boosts to our product lineup
- Grown from 1 employee to over 100, heavily focusing on nutrition, product development, quality and global customer experience (now our biggest team by far)
- Invested in better ingredients and stricter quality procedures
- Made Huel available to buy in 80 countries
- Cut our delivery times by over 50% globally
- Invested further in improving sustainability and reducing carbon footprint (more on this to come soon)
Those are achievements we are incredibly proud of, but we don’t want to stop here. We are constantly looking at how we can keep this going and how we can continue to bring you new, exciting, better products and the best overall experience.
In a nutshell, to keep improving, we have to take some hard decisions, and we had to slightly increase the price of Huel Powder, from Kč 1,485.00 to Kč 1,670.00 for 2 bags of Huel Powder (subscription).

Yes, the price of Huel Powder is changing, but we hope the actual difference this will make to you will be minimal. For more detailed information, please see below the change in price for Huel Powder and Huel Gluten-free.
The prices reported below are referring to the subscription, which are of course 10% lower than the single purchase prices.

Global price structure
Implementing this price change gave us the opportunity to look at our global pricing. Where previously some countries were charged different levels of discounts when adding more bags, we have now tried to make it as fair and equal as possible.
The difference appeared largely because every time we started delivering Huel to a new country, we dealt with that on a case-by-case basis. Now we are working globally with delivery partners who are able to provide us with a more standardised pricing system for warehousing, shipping and delivery of your orders.
So we have been able to address the discrepancy by implementing a discount structure over increasing number of bags that is as smooth as possible between different countries.
This means that when Hueligans in different countries buy any number of bags, the volume discount they will receive will be (roughly) the same globally.
This might be different from the discount structures being applied in some countries previously, but it is a fair deal which many Hueligans around the world have been asking for.
However, please note that baseline pricing in different countries still has to be different in some cases. There is very little we can do about this as a business. Different countries have different costs associated with doing business there (different taxes for our products being first and foremost, but also currency exchange and other costs).
Please rest assured we are not using this as an excuse to make more money in some countries than others. While we were reviewing our pricing we tried to make sure it is as fair as possible by making our margin the same in all countries, which will allow us to continue bringing Huel to everyone, everywhere.
What happens if you have a subscription?
For all our Hueligans that have a Huel Original order due to arrive between now and August 24th, you'll receive the current v2.3.
If you are currently subscribed to Huel Powder, and have a delivery being shipped on August 25th or later, this will be charged following the new pricing outlined above, minus any discount you may have applied (e.g. Referral Discount, Student Discount, etc.).
This will happen automatically and you shouldn't need to do anything to confirm this, unless your bank decides to re-authenticate your card in which case you will be notified by them via text or email (depending on your communication settings between you and your bank).
We understand that you may not want to keep receiving your Huel based on this new price. We are very sorry if this is the case and we hope a minority of our Hueligans will choose this option. However, if you do decide to leave us, please follow the simple steps below:
- Go to https://cz.huel.com/account
- Log in (if you aren't already logged in)
- Click “Edit” on the subscription you want to cancel
- Click “Cancel subscription”
- Select a cancellation reason
- Click “Cancel subscription”

Flavour change
It’s important for us to tell you that the taste isn’t exactly the same and this is due to several ingredient changes. But in our own words we are confident that ‘it’s 90% there’.
We do however think you’ll love it. The powder still has it’s natural, oaty taste and comes with all of the v3.0 benefits. These include all natural flavours, more natural vitamin sources, plus added probiotics and kombucha.
